Streptavidin conjugate – polyHP (Horseradish Polymerase)
Streptavidin horseradish peroxidase (SHP) is a conjugate of a highly active ferment of horseradish peroxidase with recombinant streptavidin.
Streptavidin in the conjugate selectively binds with biotin, peroxidase catalyzes oxidization of different substrata, for example, tetramethylbenzidine, diaminobenzidine and luminal. The conjugate is highly sensitive due to its large size and the presence of a great number of streptavidin and peroxidase molecules.
It is used in different methods, such as immune-ferment analysis (IFA), immuno- and dot-blotting, chemiluminescence and immunohistochemistry.
This conjugate is stable when stored for a long time.
