Chemically modified Hot Start Taq-polymerase
Taq DNA-polymerase is a single polypeptide with molecular weight of 95 kDa. This polymerase is highly processive, it allows to amplify the fragments with the length up to 3 thousand pairs of bases. Taq DNA polymerase catalyzes DNA synthesis in the 5’-3’ direction.
This ferment has 5' - 3' exonuclease activity and adenyl-transferase activity. Transferase activity leads to adding single рА to both 3' ends of two-chain DNA, received during amplification. The ferment has the activity specified in the label, at 74 ˚С and рН 8,8. Taq DNA-polymerase has been purified from E.coli strain, containing plasmid with the cloned full-size DNA-polymerase gene Thermus aquaticus. The ferment has been chemically modified. The ferment contains bacterial DNA.
Application:
- DNA amplification with polymerase chain reaction method (PCR) and real time PCR.
- Introduction of the tag into the DNA.
- Obtaining PCR products for ТА-cloning.
- DNA sequencing.
- Аmplification in the presence of the moderate amount of inhibitors (for example, remaining blood).
