SSB protein

SSB is a protein that non-specifically binds one-chain DNA structures. SSB gene is isolated from Thermus thermophilis HB8 micro-organism, and is cloned and expressed in E. Coli system. SSB protein is used as an enhancer during routine PCRs аnd also for amplification of long fragments.
