Recombinant human tissue factor
Recombinant human tissue factor is a recombinant chimaeric polypeptide with the mass of 69 кDa, comprised of the carrier protein and the fragment of the human tissue factor corresponding to 33 - 263 amino acid residues. The tissue factor in combination with phospholipids triggers the cascade ferment activation mechanism, with the result of catalytic cleavage with further fibrinogen polymerization. It is used in tests for determining coagulation.
